Hypnotherapy is an alternative form of therapy that has been proven to be very successful. It can be used for a whole variety of things including stopping with smoking, weight control, relaxation, confidence boost, getting rid of phobias such as claustrophobia, agoraphobia, fear of flying, getting rid of nightmares, insomnia, pain management, and enhancing memory. Even past lives can be looked at through hypnosis.
The beauty of hypnosis is that there is no medication involved. You improve your quality of life through using your mind alone. Quite often, once the therapy is finished, you will know how to use hypnosis for issues other than your original problem, and this is yet another long term benefit of hypnotherapy.
There are a few misconceptions about hypnosis, one of them being that you lose control while under hypnosis. The reality is that you never lose control. It is impossible to do anything unethical or against your will under hypnosis, because in this state of consciousness you are just as aware of reality and your morals as in the time you are wide awake.
Hypnosis is simply a different state of consciousness, a mental state that lies between wakefulness and sleeping. It is a state of consciousness in which the mind is a lot clearer than in the normal waking state, the senses are enhanced by 30%, memories are sharper and concentration and visualization become easier. When under hypnosis it is the subconscious mind that is listening and experiencing, and this makes it easier to become aware of deep-rooted problems and fears, which can then be overcome.
Most problems can be dealt with relatively quickly, and quite often certain problems that usually take other forms of therapy years to overcome, can with hypnotherapy be dealt with in a matter of weeks.
All you need is the confidence to make it work for you.
We offer a free first consultation so that you can come and talk to us about hypnotherapy. This gives you the opportunity to decide for yourself whether you believe hypnotherapy can work for you.
In this consultation we can also give you a free short demonstration so you know what being under hypnosis feels like (and we can assure you you’ll want to come back for more!).
